BUZZ'D
The audience-controlled comedy night for bars & venues

THE CROWD CONTROLS.
THE COMICS DELIVER.
YOUR BAR PACKS OUT.

BUZZ'D is an audience-controlled comedy show your venue books like a band. A QR code on the screen behind the comic lets the crowd pull up a control panel on their phone and send challenges to the stage — sing a song, roast yourself, act out a scene. Vote a bad set off for free with the buzzer. We bring the comics, the host, and the tech.

The problem

Your Tuesday is dead and trivia isn't cutting it.

Midweek is a wasteland. Trivia's tired, karaoke's messy, and a standard open mic is 40 minutes of a guy reading off his phone. BUZZ'D is different — the crowd is literally running the show from their phones, so nobody puts their phone down and nobody leaves.

Slow Tuesday / Wednesday nights
No time to book and manage talent
Same tired trivia / karaoke rotation
You want events, not another job
How it works

You book it. We run it.

01

We bring the lineup

BUZZ'D provides the comedians and a pro host. Each comic knows the crowd is running the room — they show up loose, fast, and hungry.

02

The crowd runs the show

A big QR code lives on the screen behind the comic. Guests scan it, the control panel opens on their phone, and they pick a challenge — 'Sing a song', 'roast yourself', 'do a Walken impression'. The bit pops on the big screen and the comic has to do it.

03

Buzzer keeps it moving

Bad set? Anyone can tap the free buzzer. Hit the threshold and it rips — the comic's off, the next one's up. Nothing drags. Ever.

Why venues book us

More butts in seats. Longer tabs. Zero dead air.

Bar sales go up

The crowd is dialed in — picking bits, watching them play out, and reacting live. That energy keeps them in their seats and ordering rounds the entire show.

Every request is a group moment

One table sends a bit, the whole room screams. Then the next table has to top it. Word-of-mouth is baked into the format.

Zero lift on your staff

Our host handles setup, sound, comics, and the crowd. You just make sure the tap's cold. That's it.

Pays for itself at the bar

It's an open mic format — no talent fee to cover. Your only job is pouring drinks to a packed room.

Turn Tuesday into your best night

Venues we run are seeing regular sold-out midweeks. The gimmick is the draw — and people come back to try new bits.

A show you own

Recurring residency, exclusive to your venue in your neighborhood. It becomes 'the BUZZ'D night at [your bar].'

"The crowd ran $380 worth of requests in one show. Our Tuesday tab was up 3x. The comics loved it, and half of them asked when the next one was."

Venue FAQ

The stuff you're about to ask.

What do we need to provide?
A stage or performance area, a mic-capable PA we can plug into, and a Wi-Fi connection strong enough for guest phones. That's it. We bring everything else.
How much does it cost?
Email us for a quote — pricing is scoped to your venue size and market. Most venues make it back on incremental bar sales alone.
How do requests work?
The audience picks bits from a menu on their phone using a card or Apple/Google Pay. Each request pops up on the stage screen and the comic has to run it live.
What if a comedian is actually good?
Then the crowd stops buzzing and starts loading them up with requests. Good comics thrive on this format — the crowd rewards them with more stage time and bigger reactions.
Can the crowd troll and buzz everyone instantly?
Our host sets the vote threshold with you before the show. Votes are toggleable, so trolls can't dogpile the first comic and end the night.
Do you do one-offs or residencies?
Both. Most venues start with a one-night trial, then lock in a weekly or biweekly residency once they see the numbers.
What cities are you in?
Ask us. We're expanding fast — if we don't have a host crew in your city yet, tell us and we'll get on it.
